How To Get Rid Of Acne?

I am 38 yrs old and been suffering from acne for 10 yrs now. Have visited dermatology and was prescribed retine A, which really burned my face and was discontinued. then was presribed tetracycline which has done nothing. Need your advice please on what to do with this bad acne of mine.
