How To Get Rid Of Anger And Stomach Bloating Before Menstrual Period?

For several months now, i have been feeling very angry & short tempered before my period. I will feel this way for approx two weeks and i'm getting rather concerned as i am shouting at my children when i should not. In addition i get very bloated around my stomach. my periods are heavy, lasting approx 5 days, but not painful. I am 38 yrs old.
