How To Get Rid Of Balanitis?

Hi i was recently diagnosed with balanitis, must be a mild case because all i have is redness around foreskin and small flesh colored bumps at the base of the head. They prescribed nyastatin and its not gotten better, i read that its kinda hard to get rid of, any suggestions?
