How To Get Rid Of Black/red Stain In Clitoris?

Hi, I am 21 years old and have no serious medical issues, I am asthmatic.I had a cesarean 1 month ago, and now find that there is black or dark red stain in my clitoris. I have no pain or irritation in that area I was by the gyneacologist and she said that it looks like old blood and I should clean it out. As I am cleaning it, it does stain on the cotton pad but does not dissappear. Is the anything I should be concerned about?
