How To Get Rid Of Black Skin After Having Stitches On Nose?

after an accident a few stitches were made upon one side of my nose where a screw from my spectacles pierced. The would is healed but the skin is black in colour. Will it change gradually to the original skin colour? Can you suggest any ways by which it could be changed?
