How To Get Rid Of Black Spots On The Legs?

Good evening, I hope this message meets you well? I commend you for the work you do on this forum.

I am a 30 year old black African. I have a number of black spots on my legs which are obvious as I am a bit fair in complexion. The spots were caused by bruising, mosquito bites, wounds etc which as a child I scratched…. Some spots i have had for up to 20 years.



I am desperate to have the black spots less visible. I went to a laser treatment clinic and they recommend microdermabrasion. I wasn’t assessed by a dermatologist but a laser technician. I am a bit apprehensive if this treatment will work as I have read that this treatment deals with superficial skin layers.

They reckon I will need at least 9-12 treatment which will cost me minimum of £1700.

What is your opinion on this treatment and What would you recommend?Thanks.
