How To Get Rid Of Bumps On The Skin?

HI I am 22 yrs old i have had these little bumps on my skin that do not appear to be pimples all over my chest area. i recently went to a dermatologist who told me it was enlarged oil glands, he says there is no treatment. After doing some of my own research i have found that there is treatment, such as cautery, i am desperate to have it done but i want to first know is it safe?
