How To Get Rid Of Dry And Rough Pimple Above Lip?

I had a pimple above my lip. I have a bad habit of picking at it and over applying acne topic medication on it. I am Asian with dark skin. I think I made things super bad when I overapplied hydroquionone on it. It seems that it may have burned my skin or something because it became like an open wound. Now the spot over my lips is this dark raised brown spot that is super dry and rough on the surface. I don't know how to get rid of it. When the skin peels off, it's just the same texture underneath.
