How To Get Rid Of Dry Patches Underneath Mustache?

I have been dealing with dry patches underneath my mustache for about 3 months. It doesn t itch but very uncomfortable. I have even noticed little spots of puss dot that look very unappealing. I have no clue what it is. I have tried neosporin and Vaseline, but that only works for a few hours. It seems to be worse in the morning when I wake up....any suggestions?
