How To Get Rid Of Dryness And Cracks On The Face?

i am a 19 years old boy and i recently have been using a medcin called gentanycin cream prescribed by my doctor.i gave been appling it on my face (once a day,at night)for almost a month now,but i dont think my face is getting any better.instead its even more infected than before,it is very dry no moisture at all,my skin cracks after i wash my face and it burns like hell,i cant go back to the doc because it is very expencive.i really would appretiate it if u would help me.please!
