How To Get Rid Of Grass Stuck In Throat?

My daughter is 5 yrs old she ate a piece grass that looks like a stick and now she said that her throat hurts. she is able to swallow but she says it bothers her. what can I do? I gave her water to swallow to see if the piece of grass goes down her throat, but nothing happened, she says she stills has it.
