How To Get Rid Of Lump On Tonsil?

I have a lump on my right tonsil (that's slowly getting bigger) and my left tonsil is a little swollen too. They are painless and quite hard, it has been affecting my ears and giving me headaches, Ive had it for over two weeks now. Went to the doctors a week after I noticed and they said it should be gone within a week. It still isn't.
