How To Get Rid Of Raised Mole In Inner Crease Of Leg?

my 8 yr old grandaughter has a brown elongated, crusted, raised mole looking something in the inner crease of her leg. She has had this for a few years, but now it looks like more are starting, and the original one is bigger. what could this be. She was taken to the dr. a few years ago, and the dr. seemed to think it was genital warts, which after examination it was not.....but no one ever told us what it is. please help, it looks really bad, and it does bother her if she wears panties with elastic.
