How To Get Rid Of Rash On One Side Of The Face?

My daughter is 5 years old, she is diabetic but yesterday she got sent home from school after being sick. I brought her home and all she wanted to do was sleep. She hasn't been sick since but she has a rash on one side of her face and says the back of her mouth hurts. Her temperature has been around 38.4 but she keeps going hot and cold.
