How To Get Rid Of Reddish Pimple Scar On Upper Lip?

Hi. I had two pimple on my upper left lip, which became bigger as I also developed a cold (blowing nose). So the whole area became raw and sensitive. After the whitehead in the pimples gradually subsided (using tretinoin topical cream), I made the mistake of using at home strip wax (not hot wax). I didn t realise how raw the whole area was and now I have two welt-like reddish scars around where the pimples are. In addition, I also have red discoloration right in the cupids bow. What can I do to encourage healthy healing without discoloration? My pharmacist just said Chpastick or Vaseline; vitamin E is not proven. Elsewhere ive read AHA, bio-oil, aloe. Please help.
