How To Get Rid Of Severe Hair Fall Problem?

i 38 yrs old lady doctor 5'2" 56kgwith no past history of major illnesses but had a serious hairfall problem in dec 2010with my thyroid profile wnl and s.ferritin lower boderline I was advised Tab FEROX -DT n XTRAGLO since then my hairfall stopped but i gained 3 kg weight. Is it a side effect?
