How To Get Rid Of Shingles?

Best things to do now I have Shingles ? History: Possibly symptoms started Sat evening spots, rashy, itchy on right forehead - after approx. 2 days later small blister like things appear in the same area. Have been to Doctor this morning approx. 4.5 days in, advised medication by Doctor of: Valaciclovir Actavis 500 mg 2 tables 3 times a day for 6 days until all taken. Just wondering is there anything else I should be doing that may help the symptoms ? emuaid cream and soap ? probiotics, immunity boosters ? Kind regards Janelle
