How To Get Rid Of Spots On The Face?

My question is about my son he is 30 years old he sees markings on his face that are not there, he understands that no one else can see them but he is constantly looking at himself asking how to get ride of them, and if they'll still be there tomorrow. He spends hours looking at them. Doctor what do you think?
