How To Get Rid Of Strong Vaginal Odor?

i need some help....i dont know if i need to go to a gynecologist or what, but since i have been sexually active i have been having a almost clear discharge, and a foul odor. its super embarrassing and i dont know how to get it go away. i have lots of problems at school over all because of this. i have no idea how to get rid of this, or if i need to take medicine or not. im scared it is something serious and i really need medical help.
