How To Get Rid Of The Bed Sores On The Head?

my grandson has just had a major operation to remove a choledochal cyst and also had his gallbladder removed.he usually lies when asleep on his side,but due to the nature of the operation has stayed on his back,which unfortunatly has resulted in bedsores on his head....advice needed please
