How To Heal The Side Of The Thumb As It Nipped With Clippers?

i nipped the side of my thumb with clippers..it was just outside of the nail on the side. It wont heal. There is a blood filled pocket over the place I nipped and it is painful. If I burst it, pours blood and makes new one. i keep covered in neosporin and bandaid. i only burst it when it gets large and bulging to relieve the pressure. what do I need to do to heal this?
