How To Improve The Chances Of Conception Post Salpinggectomy?

i had a salpingectomy in April 2014 and recently ive been having irregular periods. I used to have a minimum of 28 day cycles but recently had 27 and 25 day cycles. i have been trying to concieve since the surgery but unfortunately ive been ovulating from the right side, where i had the tube removed. what do you think is happening and what can i do to improve my chances.
