How To Lower Sugar Level?

Hello doctor. my name is sadia. And i want to ask about my mothers blood sugar level.. from the past days she was showing symptoms of diabetes, excessive thirst, excessive urine and unconditional weight loss. So to clear my doubt , last nght i had chcked her sugar level. It was on 577, alarming fr me. Now i hve chckd her sugar level again , with fasting, and now it is 317. What do u suggest inslin ar tablet. Or it is normal of her age, she is 59 now. Plz advice Regards
