How To Overcome Numbness At The Retrieval Site Of Plasma?

I have been donating plasma for about two months now and I have a reaction almost every time I give. My donation hand goes numb during the donation about half way through the donation. They put the machine on return and I immediately feel better. What is causing this? I want to continue to give, but I may have to stop if I cannot complete the process.
