How To Prevent Miscarriage?

Hi im 11+ weeks pregnant, ths is my second child... Ive had 2 episodes of heavy bleeding in a span of 12 days and my doc put me on fertygyn 5000... And i still have spoting now and thn... Is there anything else i can do to prevent a miscarriage? Pls advise
