How To Prevent Miscarriage?

hi its 8 years since i had a baby ..im 39 years old got pregnant easily but last week at 9 weeks pregnant had a miscarrige ,was bleeding for 3 weeks and had early scan sack was there last wed and on scan on fri it was gone ...sad hard time ,going to try get pregnant asap again ,could it happen again?
