How To Prevent Recurring Eye Floaters?

Hi ive had eye floaters for awhile. I can't really see them very often. But today for probably 3 minutes outside everything was yellow tinted. it was the first time i saw it. Is there anything I can do to keep it from happening again? Or will it be something that i will have to get surgery on.
