How To Reduce Lower Abdominal Pain During Periods?

Hii doctor.. I generally have severe pain in my lower abdomen during every menstrual cycle.. Sometimes it goes out of control. Which medication shud i prefer to take? I generalky take ibrufen..also i have a 2 cm polyp in my uterus which causes spotting after my periods..doctor has suggested d surgical removal of polyp. Do u think its safe? I am a 26 years old married woman..no kids
