How To Reduce Pain Below Breast During Movement And Breathing After Hitting Shovel?

I was shoveling snow and slipped my grip on the handle and it rammed into my left rib area just below my breast. Now I have a great deal of pain when I get into bed and when I try to roll over. Even getting out of bed is a challenge. There is no bruise and the area is normal temp. It is tender to the pressing touch but not overly so. Very deep breathes cause slight discomfort. I have no health insurance so have not gone to the doctors or er. This happened on Wed. this week.
