How To Reduce Swelling Under Armpit?

For the past few weeks I have had swelling under my armpit and I thougt it was just enlarged glands from a cold. This has now come out as a large uncomfortable spot which I squeezed last night and it had some pus and blood come out of it. Now there is a hardened vein around it. What should I do? Thanks
