How To Relieve Chronic Back Pain Below Ribs?

I have had an ache in my back varying in intensity for 3 months now.The pain is on my right side below my ribs in the back. If I lie on my left it aches if I lie on my right it's ok. I cannot twist my body to the right without a sharp pain. Please help.
