How To Remove Dry Red Rashes From Legs And Back Of Calves?

I have had a rash of red circular patches of skin on my legs. Mostly on the backs of my calves. They become dry and flaky and sometimes a bit itchy but not to the extreme. I have had this rash for several months and now it is shorts season and I am too embarassed to show my legs.
