How To Remove The Marks Of Broken Blood Vessels On Face?

I have broken blood vessels all over my face from trying to strangle myself :( now I m even worse off then before because I look so awful. This was 24 hours ago. I haven t noticed any signs of improvement and I m also quite lightheaded. I have fair and sensitive skin and I am a 33 year old female. Do you know if this will go away? I ve been researching an array of responses and opinions.. Some went away within a few days and others say months and others say never. What do you think I should do? Maybe I need to hospitalize myself again although I don t know what that will result in as it does not seem to help.
