How To Stop Coughing?

coughing for a month, went to the doctor, diagnosed bronchitis, and my lungs were pretty good. Gave me antibotics (done with them a week now) and still i cough... ribs sore now too. what can I do to stop the coughing? I bring up lots of green to yellow junk.
