How To Stop Green/yellow Fluid Discharge From Ear?

Hi ive been diagnosed with a bad ear infection leading to a ruptured ear drum.ive since been put on antibiotics but my ear still feels very painful and very blocked.green and yellow fluid is still flowing out! How can i stop this and how long should i be off work? Please help
