How To Stop Menstrual Bleeding?

i had periods 4 days back but it was like spotting now from 2 days the bleeding stated and i have a holiday to go . was thinking i will get my priods on time nd all cleared up and enjoy holiday but its opposite. now i have started taking norethisterone 5 mg ... but the flow is still there. what should i do?
