How To Tear Pain And Prickling Sensation In Ribs Caused After A Cartilage Tear?

HI! I tore the cartilage around my left ribs back in October. IT was very painful and actually felt like I tore across my stomach. With rest and pain medication my ribs began to heal. As they were getting better I , of course started to do more things. If I lifted something too heavy I could tell in my ribs. As they healed I started to have like a prickling sensation under the skin over my ribs. I thought maybe I had torn something again. Anyway with all the snow storms we have have had lately I had no choice but to shovel. My ribs hurt again on my left side but also on the right side. The pricking sensation has intensified. What is it and how do I stop it?
