How To Test For Seizures In Sleep?

Sometimes I am awakened from sleep by a nightmare to find both of my arms are numb. One of my brothers has MS, a sister with GBS and my oldest daughter was recently also diagnosed with MS. A generic web search yielded a result suggesting I may be having seizures in my sleep. Do you have any idea ?
