How To Treat A Painful Bump Inside The Buttocks?

I have a bump inside my butt crack. Its at the very top and seems to be swollen. The bump is only about the size of a pea or so. There is no puss or boil or anything of that type but it is extremely painful when I sit, walk, and laydown. What is it and how can I fix it?
