How To Treat Abnormal Cervical Cells And A Positive Hpv 56 Test?

Hi, I have been referred to a specialist here in the uk with small borderline abnormal cervical cells and a positive hpv 56 test. Does this carry any higher risk of cancer than any of the other high risk hpv numbers? Also, I have tested for std's before many times, only to find out now that they are not included in the test. So how do I know how long I might have had it, and how long does it take to go away if it is not going to be the persistent type. Finally if it goes away, what is the liklihood of the same strain coming back again?
