How To Treat Barky Cough,sore Throat And Voice Hoarseness?

I have a Barky cough-non productive. I saw my MD yesterday, who said it was a cold.I have had it for 5 days, and it is getting worse. I don t feel I am getting good breaths, with exhaling being harder than inhaling. My pulse ox was 95 yesterday.I have a sore throat and hoarseness, which is worse in the morning, which made her say it is PND and just a cold. I really don t have a runny nose. I have a low grade fever (99.3).
