How To Treat Basal Cell Carcinoma Of Eyelid?

My daughter, 25 just this week found out she has basal cell carcinoma of eyelid including canthus. She does have a surgeons appt on the 23 of March. No one has called back to explain so of course I am jumping out of my skin.She went to have a pin size skin tag removed from side of eye.I do realize they will remove all the cancer and this is a common form.Should a dermatologist be doing this, a plastic surgeon...... What does this mean? It also says neoplasm uncertain behavior skin.I am so nervous.Thank you
