How To Treat Blisters On Hands?

My husband has 6 blisters on his hands at the moment, it has been going on for a few months now, the slightest bump & a blister appears he only has to put his hand in his jeans pocket & they are instantly there, his hands are a mess, he has been putting antiseptic cream on the old ones as they scab.
