How To Treat Blockage In Ear And Ringing Inspite Of Taking Amoxiciilin?

Both my eardrums are ruptured, was very fast and sudden after a nasty vital bug. I was prescribed oral amoxicillin and ofloxcin antibiotics ear drops. I did both and now my ears are worse. Both ears are blocked, loud ringing in them and can hear very little, everything is super muffled. The on call doc said usually those drops are not prescribed to someone who has an infection and rupture. Is this true? How long until hearing restores? My right hearing is hurting more and more and I'm hearing less and less.
