How To Treat Body And Muscle Pain Despite Having Diabetes 2?

I was told I had PMR almost 5 yrs ago..pain is so bad but all over body...it that possible..I do have lots of joint and muscle pain in hands, knees, ribs and really bad in back..surgery 2 yrs ago..pain much worse now..my primary care Doc really does not want to deal with it..I am diabetic 2 but very well controlled.YYYY@YYYYthanks I am 74 yrs old now...
