How To Treat Bruise And Swelling Caused By Dog Bite?

I went to the Urgent care after being bitten 10 days ago by an unknown dog had a pretty good puncture wound. Dr gave me antibiotics and I have been fine and it is almost jealed but still bruised and where deepest puncture wound was its still a bit swollen and like hard knot in that area is this normal. Dog had clean bill of health.
