How To Treat Chronic Cough And Fluctuating Body Temperature?

For the last two weeks I have been having violent coughing spells. It only happens when I get hot. I continue to cough and choke until my body temp goes back down. I have not had a fever. I can not seem to stop coughing or catch my breathe for about 2 minutes or so. Thank you for your time.
