How To Treat Cold?

Hi I ve had a cold for about 5 days now but I ve completely lost my voice and need to get it back asap. I work in a call center so my paycheck depends on it. So far I ve tried putting my head in over a sink full of hot water, only water to drink and minimal talking but its getting worse.
