I am a Parkinson s patient. For the past few days I have been constipated with bloating and cramps. I have taken over -the-counter stool softeners and have been able to past a few small pieces of solid fecal matter and a lot of clear and brown mucus. I don t understand what happened as I am very aware of the problems PD patients may have with constipation. The past two days I have been drinking lots of water, eating grapes, raisin, blueberries, strawberries with a fiber cereal and yogurt No meat for the past 4 days..
