How To Treat Cough And Congestion Despite Being Diagnosed With Strep Throat?

I was diagnosed with Strep Throat last Monday and have had antibiotic injections and still am coughing, non-productively after 6 days. At first cough was non-productive, became productive with yellow green phlegm and now is non-productive again. I am having a below normal temperature and have had from the onset of the strep.
